Martin Dowd is General Manager at Avery Dennison Medical. Based in Longford, Ireland, Martin leads the business’s operations and commercial teams, holds profit and loss responsibilities, and oversees the organization’s growth strategy. He is experienced in customer-facing enterprises, and managing converted and finished product portfolios. Martin’s deep knowledge and expertise spanning operations and commercial functions provides customers' with a valuable holistic business perspective.

Martin was appointed to the business’s newly expanded General Manager’s role in May 2022. He joined Avery Dennison in 2017 through the acquisition of Finesse Medical. As one of Finesse’s owners and prior general manager of Medical Europe, Martin played a key role in bringing Finesse into the Avery Dennison family.

Martin holds qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and Quality Assurance, Technology from Atlantic Technological University, Sligo, Ireland. Martin enjoys family time, fishing and watching sports in his personal time.

Michael Muchin is Business Director for Avery Dennison Medical, North America. Based in Connecticut, he leads the North America Medical segment, including the product sales and marketing teams. Prior to joining Avery Dennison Medical in 2020, Michael spent the majority of his career working in the medical device market and has extensive expertise in the design, development and manufacture of products that adhere to the skin.

Throughout his career Michael has effectively managed global teams, growing existing business, and working directly with market leaders on their diverse new product specifications and requirements. His experience is primarily in sales, marketing, product development, operations, quality and human resources.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Michael enjoys running, golfing and spending time with his family. He is an ardent supporter of the Special Olympics.

Barbara Van Rymenam is the Global Director, Innovation Platforms, at Avery Dennison Medical, Turnhout, Belgium. Barbara is responsible for developing and building the long term innovation roadmap for the business.

She also oversees the management of proprietary antimicrobial BeneHold™ CHG adhesive technology in various applications and multiple market segments. For over 15 years, Barbara has served the company in strategic planning; partner engagement and contracting; and coordinating marketing, operations, technical and project management activities.

Barbara earned a Master of Science degree in Business from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen, (University College of Antwerp, Belgium). Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, seeing the world, time outdoors enjoying nature and cooking.

Lisa Bartakovics is the Senior Director of Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality at Avery Dennison Medical. Based in Chicago, Illinois, Lisa oversees regulatory affairs, including 510(k) submissions of combination products, Class III Design Dossier approval and international product registrations. She is also responsible for the business’s quality system, including its document control standardization, and best processes across the business’s three Medical sites in Mentor, Ohio, Turnhout, Belgium and Longford, Ireland.

Lisa joined the company in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She dedicates her personal time to causes benefiting the homeless and foster children.

Chris Johnson is Avery Dennison Medical North America’s Senior Legal Counsel and Regional Ethics Counsel. Based in Mentor, Ohio, Chris leads the Law Department’s North and Latin Americas teams and is the business partner for Avery Dennison Medical globally and the North America LGM and IHM businesses. He advises all Avery Dennison business units in multiple regions on commercial relationships and contracts, legal strategy, regulatory and compliance, labor and employment, EH&S and litigation. Chris joined Avery Dennison in 2010 as its Chief Employment Counsel. In 2013, he advanced to Senior Group Counsel for LGM-NA before moving to The Netherlands in 2017 where he worked for three years as Senior Group Counsel, RBIS (EMEA and South Asia) and IHM (EMEA).

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Political Science and Sociology from Case Western Reserve University and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, running, traveling, attending concerts, cooking and patiently waiting for the Cleveland Browns to win the Super Bowl.

Vince Provenzale is the Senior Finance Manager at Avery Dennison Medical. Based in Mentor, Ohio, Vince joined Avery Dennison in 2011 through the Finance Leadership Development Program. In his current role, Vince leads the Medical business’s global internal and external financial reporting. He plays a pivotal role in supporting the business’s strategic direction and growth, and is a leadership team business partner. In a previous role as an FP&A senior financial analyst, Vince was a key member of the finance team that established the reporting and FP&A processes for Avery Dennison Industrial and Healthcare Materials.

Vince holds a Business Administration Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and International Business from Bowling Green State University. He enjoys performing in cover bands, watching his favorite sports teams, traveling and fine dining.
