In 2017, the Avery Dennison Corporation acquired Finesse Medical Ltd., an innovator in the development and manufacturing of healthcare products. Finesse Medical, located in Longford, Ireland, was founded in 2006 by Martin Dowd, Daire Lynch and Kevin Creighton and was well known for their advanced technologies in the areas of wound and skin care products. This acquisition was a strategic win for both organizations, and now Avery Dennison Medical is on a journey to create even more jobs in Ireland.
With a mission to enhance patient outcomes worldwide and continue to shape the future of the medical manufacturing industry, Avery Dennison Medical has opened a seconded facility in Longford. This facility will continue Finesse’s tradition of being a global supplier of manufacturing services to healthcare OEMs.
