TIMELINE

Our history

In 1935, founder Ray Stanton Avery pioneered the labeling industry. His practical genius led to the creation of the world’s first self-adhesive die-cut labeling machine, which transformed how brands and businesses deliver information.

Four decades later, the company recognized the vital role adhesive technology could play in the medical industry. Avery Dennison Medical was born, providing cutting-edge solutions to the international medical community ever since.
