Kirsten Newquist is currently the General Manager for Avery Dennison Medical.  Prior to her current role, Kirsten has held roles as Vice President of Business Development for Avery Dennison Medical (formerly Vancive Medical Technologies) and Director of New Growth Platforms at Avery Dennison.

Kirsten has extensive experience working with entrepreneurially-oriented, high growth companies on both the investor and business sides.  Prior to Avery Dennison, Kirsten was a Director at Copia Associates, a private investment firm that provides capital to start-up companies experiencing rapid growth. Previously, Kirsten has held roles as Vice President of Corporate Development for Ancora and Director of Project Management and Design for Iwerks Entertainment.

Kirsten holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and a master’s of business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Michael Muchin is currently the General Manager for Avery Dennison Medical, North America.  Prior to joining Avery Dennison Medical in 2020, he spent the vast majority of his career working in the medical device market, with expertise in the design, development and manufacture of products that adhere to the skin.  

Throughout his career, Michael has effectively managed global teams, working directly with market leaders to understand their diverse specifications and requirements in developing new products as well as growing existing business.  His experience is primarily in Sales, Marketing and Product Development, but he has additionally worked in other functional areas including Operations, Quality and Human Resources.  That broad background gives him a holistic view of business.  

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and completed an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School in their Advanced Management Program.


 

Gail Caunter is currently the General Manager for Avery Dennison Medical Europe.  Gail joined Avery Dennison Medical in January of 2021 and is currently responsible for supporting sales in Europe and Asia, as well as overall responsibility for the Longford and Turnhout sites. 

Prior to joining Avery Dennison Medical, Gail held leadership roles in the medical, healthcare and medical device industries for over 28 years, including global and national roles.  Her experience ranges from concept to project management, business management, commercialization and market adoption. Her skills cover developing products, markets, organizations and people.

Gail completed Medical Technology at University of Johannesburg (formerly Technikon Witwatersrand), with an emphasis in Chemical Pathology. She went on to complete Marketing Management from IMM Graduate School. Thereafter, she delved into the performance behavioral sciences. 

In her leisure time, Gail enjoys being around animals, and is involved in the equine and horse racing industry.

Luc De Keyser is the Global Operations Director at Avery Dennison Medical, Turnhout, Belgium. Luc has been with the company for 23 years and has extensive knowledge and experience in Operations and Supply Chain. He has a strong background in coating, finishing and converting processes. Luc leads global operations and is responsible for setting the operational strategy. He drives operational excellence by focusing on continuous improvements to standardize systems, improve safety and increase operational efficiency. Luc enjoys cycling in his personal time. 

Barbara Van Rymenam is the Global Director, CHG Program Management, at Avery Dennison Medical, Turnhout, Belgium. Barbara is responsible for outlining the strategy and overseeing the rollout and execution of the company’s proprietary antimicrobial BeneHold™ CHG adhesive technology in various applications and multiple market segments. For over 15 years, she has served the company in areas of strategic planning; partner engagement and contracting; and coordination of marketing, operations, technical, and project management activities. 

Barbara received her MS degree in Business Science from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen, (University College of Belgium, Antwerp). Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, fashion and food.

Lisa Bartakovics is the Senior Director of Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality at Avery Dennison Medical, Chicago, Illinois since joining the company in 2012. Lisa has oversight for regulatory affairs including 510(k) submissions of combination products, Class III Design Dossier approval, and international product registrations. She is also responsible for the quality system and quality performance of the business, including the standardization of our document control system, and the implementation of best processes across the three Medical sites in Mentor, Turnhout, and Longford.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She is passionate about her causes benefiting the homeless and foster children and dedicates her personal time in volunteering. 

Chris Johnson is Senior Legal Counsel, North America, and is also the Company’s Regional Ethics Counsel for North America. Chris joined Avery Dennison in 2010 as its Chief Employment Counsel. In 2013, he moved into a new role as Senior Group Counsel for LGM-NA before moving to The Netherlands in 2017 to become the Senior Group Counsel for RBIS (EMEA and South Asia) and IHM (EMEA). In 2020, Chris returned to the United States, where he is now the Law Department’s business partner for Avery Dennison Medical globally and for the North America IHM businesses. Chris has extensive experience advising all of Avery Dennison’s business units in multiple regions on a broad range of matters, including commercial relationships and contracts, legal strategy, regulatory and compliance, labor and employment, EH&S, litigation, and other legal matters.

Chris received his B.A. in Political Science (Honors) and Sociology from Case Western Reserve University and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, running, traveling, watching sports, going to concerts, cooking, and patiently waiting for the Cleveland Browns to win the Super Bowl.

 

Vince Provenzale is the Senior Finance Manager at Avery Dennison Medical, Mentor, Ohio. Vince joined Avery Dennison in 2011 through the Finance Leadership Development Program. Formerly senior financial analyst for FP&A, he was a critical member of the finance team in establishing the reporting and FP&A processes for Avery Dennison Industrial and Healthcare Materials. In his current role, Vince leads the global internal and external financial reporting for the Medical business. He plays a pivotal role in supporting the strategic direction and growth of the business, and is a key business partner of the leadership team.

Vince holds a BSBA in Accounting and International Business from Bowling Green State University. He enjoys performing in cover bands, watching his favorite sports teams, traveling, and fine dining.
